How It Works

Swappers bring what they have an abundance of: Annuals, Bulbs, Perennials, Rhizomes, Seeds, Shrubs, Trees. Perennials should be divided into small portions so everyone can get something. Plants can be in pots – wetted newspaper – plastic bags, and labeling is VERY helpful. Even those who don’t have plants to bring (new gardeners!) can come and start acquiring plants.

Bringing a foldable chair and a container to take plants home in is advised. Swaps are held RAIN or SHINE, depending on weather conditions: if to cold or high winds are predicted please return to check the site for updates!

Please no animals or smoking. Well behaved children are welcome.

Bring all excess plant materials you have, be it:

• Annuals
• Bulbs
• Perennials
• Rhizomes
• Seeds
• Shrubs
• Trees

Please nothing on the invasive plant lists. Examples – Barberry, Bishops Weed, Bittersweet, Burning Bush, Honeysuckle, Purple Loosestrife, etc.
